When I first saw the photo on which I based this piece, I was immediately struck by how gentle the man's hands are. It was the filly's first time being ridden, and she's obviously a little unsure, but her expression seems to say she's willing to do her best to understand what he wants. And his communication with her is very gentle and relaxed. She's in good hands with him.
