The work I did that summer was the start of what I would call the good art... beyond work that was done just for school, when I started to find my path in the arts. Though one of the oldest art pieces on my website, this remains one of my favorites, and one I'm not sure I could part with, at least not yet. I took the reference photos at the Draft Horse Classic show up in Grass Valley, CA, and I couldn't resist drawing this team of dapple gray Percherons.
